 The 6th edition of the “METEC – Construction Machinery” international exhibition, illustrates the outstanding resurgence of the constructional sector. It opens its doorways from the 1st till the 4th of April in the most modern exhibition center of Greece, the “Metropolitan Expo”, which is located next to the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”.
The organizer company “T Expo”, aims to upgrade “METEC 2011” in every level (quantity and variety of the exhibits, boost of the international frame, significant parallel events, comfortable and decent environment) in order to exceed any previous organizations regarding participations, visitors and exhibits.
In the “METEC - Construction Machinery”, participations include enterprises which construct or represent:
- Construction machinery of all kinds: excavation, lifting machinery, crass machines, piercing, transport, road construction, quarries, ports, tunneling, loading-discharging, concrete production, demolition, recycling, etc as well as relevant elements, spare parts and lubricants.
- Equipment of worksites: moulds, scaffoldings, metal constructions, generators, lathes, buckets, explosives, insulting, tools, instruments, uniforms, software, control systems, safety, quality, communicational, design, antiseismic protection, etc.
- Also participating: governmental services, organizations, scientific, professional, educational and trade-union institutions, institutes, banks, insurance companies, leasing, etc.
The exhibition attracts executives from technical firms, contractors, engineers, building site surveyors, researchers, quarry developers, mine developers, transport companies, warehouses, etc. Furthermore, executives from public technical organizations, Local Authorities, owners and operators of work machinery, traders, etc. will be present.
“METEC - Construction Machinery”, dubbed as the “meeting of the giants”, was first established in 2001 as a constructional sector estate not only for Greece but also for the wider region of the Southeast Europe.
